Edward & Gillian Broadway, the owners, have been in the care sector for over 25 years and are involved with the day to day running of the Home.
Gillian is the Registered Manager and works closely with the Senior Management Team.
We are a Training & Assessment Centre offering mandatory training and supporting staff to gain Diplomas in Health & Social Care: level 2 – level 5.
Care is provided by a dedicated and well trained team of care staff.
Maintenance, Housekeeping, Catering staff are very much a part of our team and are included in training sessions, meetings and decision making.
Supporting the managers are the Senior team
80 % of all care staff have gained or are working towards Diplomas in Health & Social Care. Three of our staff have gained the Level 3 Diploma in End of Life Care facilitated by MK Council and Willen Hospice. Two other staff are working towards this award.
We know that best care is provided by a continuous commitment to training for all staff.
All new staff undergo a comprehensive induction programme including all mandatory training, communication and dementia. They then work closely with identified trained staff to ensure their practice and philosophy of care fulfils our expectations and covers any gaps in their experience.

The Home is well supported by the Doctors and District Nurses from our local Health Centres.
To support us with the medical aspect of care the High Impact Team are on call 7 days a week to give advice, provide visits and help us make decisions about care practice for individuals. The team includes 4 nurses and a physiotherapist who work alongside the other practitioners.
Other professionals who give us support are: social workers, the memory team, dieticians, opticians, chiropodist and hairdresser.
